A Citizen Fund for Private Wealth Building in Germany
A citizens' fund can create increased wealth in citizens' hands as a special form of a sovereign wealth fund. The Federal Republic has enjoyed a considerable interest rate advantage when raising government debt for decades due to its very good credit rating. This interest rate advantage, which is based on an efficient state with an effective tax administration and a productive economy, should be shared more with citizens in the future than is currently the case.
