The House of Family Businesses

The House of Family Businesses is a place for meetings and exchanges among politicians, the media, academia and representatives of family businesses. The perspective of family enterprises makes an important contribution to the for-mation of political opinion.

The House of Family Businesses is where representatives of large family busi-nesses meet to exchange ideas and opinions on an expert level. At issue are topics that affect the management of family businesses, such as internationali-sation, but also security, tax and legal questions.

Exhibitions there are aimed at the general public. In the summer of 2020, the House of Family Businesses hosted the exhibition “Verdrängung, Enteignung, Neuanfang – Familienunternehmen in Ostdeutschland seit 1945”.
